DATA REQUESTS AND COOKIES
In general, the User does not need to provide any data to use the Website. However, to use certain services, the User may need to provide specific personal data to the Operator.
Depending on the service, the Operator may need the following personal data:
- your name and contact details, including your e-mail address, postal address and information about your company;
• information about your personal and professional interests;
• demographic data;
• your experience with our products and your contact preferences, so that we can provide you with further information about our products and services.
• Cookies may store information about the parameters of the device you use for browsing, your browser, your settings and your previous visits, so that we can offer you a better user experience.
In addition, the website may place cookies on the device the User uses for browsing, provided that you expressly consent to this when you first visit the website. Importantly, these cookies are stored not by the Operator but on the User's own browsing device, so the User has full control over them.
- SCOPE OF DATA PROCESSED
When the Website is viewed, cookies placed on the User's computer may automatically record the start and end time of the User's visit, the IP address and, in some cases – depending on the settings of the User's computer – the type and language of the browser and operating system, the parameters of the User's device, the settings specified by the User on the Website, the subpages visited and the time spent on them. The Operator does not and cannot link this data to personal data; you decide whether to share it through the express authorisation you give us and through the cookie settings of your browser.
Other data provided in order to use the Website is also processed with the User's voluntary consent.
The Operator asks that “minors” – as defined by applicable local law – do not enter into legal transactions (purchases or any other transactions) without the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
- PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
Data processing serves to maintain ongoing contact between registered Users of the Website's services and the Operator, to improve the user experience and for opinion research. Through the use of cookies, the system automatically generates statistical data on the length of visits and the pages visited, so that the Operator can further develop and optimise the Website's services and tailor them even better to Users' needs. The Operator also uses cookies to provide the User, on their next visit, with content consistent with their previous activity and to load their own settings automatically, making the website more convenient to use.
The Operator uses and processes other data provided by the User solely in order to provide a higher level of service, in particular in the following areas:
- answering questions you ask on the Website;
• sending our newsletters;
• internal record-keeping;
• developing the content of the Website;
• informing you about updates to the Website;
• personalising the content of the Website;
• sending the User any publications ordered on our website.
The Operator may contact the User by e-mail, telephone, fax or post, unless the User has indicated a preference for one of these. The Operator does not use personal data for purposes other than those specified. Data provided in this way is processed with the User's voluntary consent.
The Operator treats all data and facts relating to Users confidentially and uses them solely to develop its services and to produce its own statistics. Reports based on them are published only in a form that does not allow individual Users to be identified.
The Operator does not transfer, publish, sell, rent or make your personal data available to third parties without your consent, unless this is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy or required by law.
If the User provided personal data in order to receive information about the Operator's services by e-mail, the Operator will continue to send such information by e-mail unless the User expressly requests otherwise. In other cases, when you provide personal data to the Operator, you can choose whether you would also like to receive such information by e-mail.
- DURATION OF DATA PROCESSING
Session IDs are deleted automatically when you leave the Website. Other cookies, however, help the Operator remember the User's previous settings, the data and information provided and other characteristics of their use of the website, so that they do not have to be entered again on the next visit and settings are loaded automatically for a more pleasant user experience. The expiry period of these cookies varies, but they typically remain on the User's device until the User deletes them.
The Operator accepts no responsibility for earlier pages that have been deleted but have nevertheless been archived by internet search engines. Their removal is the responsibility of the operator of the search engine.
- WHO HAS ACCESS TO THE DATA, DATA PROCESSORS
Personal data provided by Users may be accessed by the Operator's staff.
The Operator does not transfer personal data to third parties other than those indicated. This does not apply to any mandatory data transfers required by law, which may occur only in exceptional cases. Before fulfilling any request from an authority, the Operator examines for each item of data whether there is in fact a legal basis for the transfer.
- USERS' RIGHTS REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF THEIR PERSONAL DATA; DELETION OF DATA
The legal basis for data processing is the Users' voluntary consent.

The Operator places great emphasis on the security of your personal data. To prevent unauthorised access to personal data, we apply appropriate physical and electronic procedures to protect and secure data received online.
If you wish to change or delete your cookie settings relating to the Website, you can do so in the settings of the browser you use to access the web – since cookies are stored on the User's computer and not by the Operator of the Website.
